Reviews for Virtues From A Certain Point of View
Kelana-ti 10/29/12 . chapter 9
Ahsoka's apprentice is going to be the Rabbit?! 0.O OK. That'll be interesting.

Well, I'm glad you haven't killed Rex. No offence, Wolffe, but I just like Ahsoka with Rex more. Honestly, I think that Wolffe obeyed Order 66 in canon...

Another thing, most Togruta from Shilli have red tinted skin, so amoung Togruta Ahsoka wouldn't stand out. I guess she might stand out on some planets, but no more than some other species. I don't think that her skin color would really be a problem.

I do really love the feeling of realism that you have throughout your stories. Realistic, showing the darkest parts of life, but staying pure, and showing Hope as well. Love it. Looking forward to your next update. :D
Kelana-ti 10/29/12 . chapter 8
So, if Chiyou, or whatever her name is, is with Bly, then Fives would be escaping soon. That means Yilli would be involved... interesting. :D
Kelana-ti 10/29/12 . chapter 3
Oh, this is perfect! I'd always wondered how 99 got to live, when the kaminoans killed clones for lesser offences. This is a good possibility.
Kelana-ti 10/29/12 . chapter 2
Hang on- Fives lost an eye!? You didn't mention that in Rebellion. I also noticed that Echo is still alive in this chapter... are you planning on rewriting it?

I am glad to get this insight into Fives injuries. His 'bad' side is his left, right?

One thing I'm wondering about is prosthetics. I know that Corr had his arms blown off, and got desk duty... he probably only became a commando because of Skirata. And I think that Commander Wolf (or however you spell his name) had a prosthetic eye. Is your theory that after a certain number of prosthetics, that a clone can only get desk duty? It makes sense, I suppose...
Jade-Max 4/5/12 . chapter 4
Powerful and heartbreaking. The intensity between the two men, the obvious connection and love they share is just wow...

I had tears in my eyes when Korbin arrived too late! Oh gosh!

I liked the ending where he made his decision to track down Kil, though; his determination is palpable and gave me chills. I don't pity those who would dare cross him here.

Whew! Thank goodness you didn't kill Rex, despite all appearances! *always roots for Rexoka* :)

I like your Obi-wan. Much more relaxed and less...anal retentive than he comes across as being in canon. :P

'Soka and Wolffe, hmm, interesting. Wonder how that's gonna play out with a certain...someone. *trying not to give any spoilers away herself, if we're still going that particular direction*

Anobis, Cody, Tay...and a Knighting. Interesting. 'Soka certainly needed it :)

*giggles at the reference to the...Bunny* Oh, that's going to get interesting! *grin*

Love her, love her, LOVE HER! I hope to see more of Ylli! So strong, so perfectly suited to Chopper!

And poor Korbin! She's figured him out as well, but if only she knew who his lover was. XD

Rooting for Ylli and Chops all the way! :)

I love your muse. Seriously.

This was such a beautiful Virtue – filled with affection, quiet humor, and a brilliant sense of hope, much like Obi-Wan himself. :P Loved the setting, and the way that Obi's love of tea drew him to Anchorhead on a semi-regular basis, along with his desire for galactic news. Okay...I lost it a little when you mentioned Kali's name! (You know. You got the texts...) It makes me irrationally, stupidly happy to see Kali in other folks' stories. :D

Yes, I'm a Rexsoka fan, long since converted by sachariah; however, the decision to place Ahsoka with Wolffe was both unexpected and oddly refreshing. You mention that it plays into your later plans for ATS, (which I'm excited to read!), and you didn't kill Rex, so I'm eager to see how that plays out. For the purpose of this Virtue, I really liked the idea that Ahsoka and Wolffe were kind of thrown together by circumstance, and not until she saw that Rex was “dead” did she allow herself to become truly close with the ex-commander. That really touched me, especially because you didn't really dwell on the matter; we only learn what happened from Wolffe's almost impartial perspective. Ahsoka “kept her distance” until Rex was no longer an option. But I never got a sense of irritation from Wolffe about being her second choice – he's far too pragmatic for such petty emotions.

Speaking of Wolffe...great job with the ol' curmudgeon. ;) He was just the right mixture of skepticism, “huffiness,” and kind concern for 'Soka, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading him – I also got the sense that you had fun writing him, which made the read even awesomer. (I know that's not a word, but darn it all, I don't care. :P) Also...he was shirtless. That was a nice touch. ;)

Loved the reunion of the Jedi. One thing that TCW has shown is that Ahsoka was close to Obi-Wan in her own way; they were each also close to Anakin, which connects them on a deeper level than most other Jedi. They've both lost the same person, shared the same kind of grief. Loved how Wolffe pushed past his inclination to keep moving because he saw that spending a bit of time with Obi-Wan would make Ahsoka feel better – again, Rex is mentioned. I have a feeling there's much about Rex that remains unspoken between the former commanders. It was also interesting to see Obi's reaction to Rex's absence – it seems that everyone thought that he'd be the one to rescue 'Soka. Like I said...Wolffe was refreshing. (However, since Rex isn't dead...I reckon there's some angst coming up...can't wait!)

Wonderful job weaving this into ATS: Redemption; one of my favorite parts of that fic was when Obi-Wan forgave Cody, and I just loved seeing this Virtue tied into your canon. Also loved seeing Obi's thoughts on attachment, echoing what he told Cody in Redemption: the Jedi Order needs to change if it is to survive these dark times.

And the Knighting ceremony. Lovely. Wonderful job tying in Ahsoka's reluctance to let go of her Padawan “braid” with her (and Obi's) faith in the Jedi Order, and the Force. Also loved how it was Obi's way of restoring her faith, bringing it to the forefront and giving her hope that things will get better. :) Loved how Wolffe was the witness to Ahsoka's Knighting – another thing that will bind them together, I suspect, and the entire ceremony was just perfect. We don't get to see this kind of thing too much in canon, and you did a fantastic job with it, here.

Qui-Gon! Another totally unexpected appearance, but I loved it! He's one of the characters that got so little screen time, yet his impact on the saga was massive, and I just loved reading his interaction with Obi-Wan here. Loved the wry, familiar banter between them, and the vision that we're left with...

Jedi space-rabbit, FTW!

Wonderful job! Love, love, love! :D

Lovely virtue, faith and very nice for Obi-Wan. I really like the quote at the beginning. Nice little mention of Kalinda too :)

Too sad that those two years have been so obviously hard on Obi! Poor guy :( It was interesting he thought of Cody as his biggest obstacle rather than Anakin, but I'm glad he found a path to greater faith anyway.

I enjoyed him speaking with Qui at the end and the lighter ending :)

Interesting- i can;t wait to see what you've done with Rexie!
LongLiveTheClones 1/31/12 . chapter 9
(sigh) Happy day. So thrilled when this one popped into my inbox. I always say there are not nearly enough story out there with Commander Wolffe in them. Love the idea of pairing him up with Ahsoka. Especially love it when he comes with a wardrobe that doesn't involve him wearing a shirt... lovely visual...still smiling at that thought...

The knighting ceremony was beautiful. I can totally understand Ahsoka holding on to her padawan beads, as a way of clinging to her beliefs. At the same time, it was a beautiful moment when Obi Wan promoted her to Jedi Knight. Very powerful scene.

Loved how it ended with Obi Wan having a quiet conversation with Qui Gon. It shows us that he is not truly all alone out there in the desert. Makes his exile less lonely and painful. Maybe some of his other dearly departed Jedi friends visit him, too? Not sure how the whole Force ghost thing works, but after that YouTube video we saw the other day, it could get downright crowded with the all the Jedi that were killed after Order 66...

Can't wait to see what you have in store for Rex. Thank you for not killing him off. The "Rex is dead" stories always depress me. He's, well, Rex, and things just don't seem right without him.

Loved it! I love Obi-wan. Sometimes I think he is really the heart of Star Wars. He just shines!

Sounds like there is so much more good stuff to come!
