This was beautiful and my only complaint is that I wish it had been longer, because you write wonderfully and I didn't want it to end. Personally, I find it very hard to write a story in the present tense, and I rarely see others do it well. If you worked hard for it, you pulled it off. If it came to you naturally, then you are very lucky. )

I love how you did this: There weren't necessarily fireworks in their relationship, it was more like they were both flowing towards the same conclusion. It gave their love a sort of "meant to be" vibe throughout the story, and it's very poignant. I think what I really liked about this is that Harry saw something he hadn't seen before in his former professor, and that sparked everything. It just shows that Harry's matured enough to be able to acknowledge that Snape has more going on than just being an evil, greasy, slimy, Slytherin git; and the fact that Snape held back the barbs long enough to display that is heart-warming too.
