This sounds like an interesting story. I don't remember seeing/reading any stories that had to do with Lehran's Medallion so I'm intrigued by this.

The way this is written and your style is lovely. It is descriptive enough to be able to see what is happening without over doing it.

I can't wait to see how this will end up!

You've set up an interesting premise here. It's very intriguing. The mention of Ike at the beginning is promising and makes me wonder exactly what is going to transpire over the course of this story.

There are a few things I'd like to point out, however.

["Um, Miss Micaiah?" Her head snapped up almost immediately, topaz eyes dimming from her lack of concentration. "Are you alright?"

Her gaze lingered on his innocent features for a moment longer before she smiled warmly at him, attempting to remain composed. "Of course it is, little one."] Micaiah's words don't seem to fit - perhaps you meant to say that she was alright?

["Ike, come on! Mom's been looking everywhere for you and she's starting to get worried!"] Given the time period it's likely Mist would have said "Mother" instead of "Mom".

[His eyes were crimson, the color of blood when it hardened on flesh. His eyes were wild, glancing about fervently, as if he could not stay still.] Crimson is generally a much brighter shade of red and not the color of clotting blood, but with this don't worry - I'm simply too nitpicky.

As I said above, everything I pointed out are only small details and don't take too much away from the story itself. I am very curious to see where this story will lead - great work, and keep writing.

Yes! Finally! I've been waiting for a story like this!

I would have assumed that writers would have taken adavantage of Lehran's Medallion a while ago for an interesting story (such as the chaos it contains...), but sadly I haven't seen any stories of the sort. I'm so happy that someone's decided to write this type of story up! An epidemic in Tellius could lead to an interesting chain of events...I'm eager to see how you will write this out!

By the way, I like your writing style. You write well, without being bland or being overly descriptive. It's a nice medium to travel. Refreshening compared to alot that I've read lately. :)

Also, question (you may not be able to answer this yet, but...): Do you have any planned character deaths? Kind of random, but I was curious.
