Oh my goodness. Oh. My. Goodness. This is absolutely amazing. I... I don't even know what to say. It's spectacular. Awesmazing. Perfect.

*hiccupsob* Wow. I really like this. Damn I LOVE the image of his shattered nameplate. Because yes, the nickname Nny is not a normal nickname, it's his I-AM-INSANE nickname...it seems to go hand in hand with his insanity, it's not like a harmless nickname he had as a kid. And the metaphor of his shattered, damaged self is perfectly illustrated by the breaking of the nameplate. Irrevocably damaged, he picks up the piece that will be Johnny, Homicidal Maniac. And then of course, there's the fact that the nampleplate broke when HE got slammed into the chest, BY his father. Which is representative of his lashing out at other people, and being pushed over the edge by them, but really being his own worst enemy.

As short as it is, it's really quite brilliant in its simplicity.

Can I bitch-slap his dad? Pleez? :D

Whoa, that was...powerful. As you may have meant, for most of the story I thought it was little Squee (until the end of course). And the ending... wow. This was really good, and very well thought out. And built up as well (btw thanks for reviewing my story and I agree with that point you made).

Hon, check the comic covers. Nny's hair IS black. It's blue on the SQUEE! trade paperback's back probably because he dyed it around that time. The comic with Nny took place after JTHM, obviously.

Eeiry! Sweet! I like this fic, it's fits Johnny well to have a family like this. Although, the parents are a bit too much like Squee's but maybe that's why Nny pities the kid then. Anyway, awesome work.
