a really nice well written chapter to start with. However im left wondering what kind of changes Xander will keep.

Woot! Well, the length of this chapter's certainly made up for the length of the wait. Please don't leave it so long between updates again! More, please! I'm thoroughly enjoying this fic, especially in the more original parts which deviate from the canon. Seeing Xander growing into his dhampir nature from D is proving very interesting indeed.

This is very interesting story. I really enjoyed reading it. I look froward to what happen next in it. It progress so nicely. Good luck with it.

Okay- I have NO idea why it took me so long to find out about this fic, but now that I have, I'm HOOKED!

Seriously HOOKED! I mean- Buffy as a series was just awesome, and I proudly own both the Vampire Hunter D movies (and pretty much figured out who Xander was going to end up being with 'wide brim hat' and 'Vampire Hunter') But this is awesome... It's so fun to read 'episodes' that I remember from the series with the new twist of what Xander is.

And that demon of his... hehehe... I LOVED that character for his snark and skills as D's 'little helper' and he's just PERFECT as a demon stuck being part of Xanders hand. I'm especially interested NOW because of your choice of having the events of Angelus play out differently (Angel being stopped before he could be changed back)... Which, I think was a smart idea... Because Angelus was a bastard who killed people they all cared about. Buffy might have had a hard time staking him, but new and improved Xander would not only have the drive he now has the ABILITY to stand face to face and take him out (I've seen D- Xander, with the help of the demon, is eventually going to become one of the most powerful forces the 'Buffy verse' is going to have).

So, please, please, PLEASE keep writing this... The characters are all spot on perfect, the story is engaging and compelling, and it's just a really fun ride to be on! Awesome job, and I can't wait for more :)

Well, a part of me is sad not to see Xander go Vampire Hunter on Angelus, while another is quite glad the psycho isn't coming out. Liking Joyce's fierce mother side, with its bloodthirst on all who dare cause any harm to her daughter. Until next time.

ahahah they do love their vengeance... personally I would have done the same, but only because pedophelia is a crime...and Buffy at the time is only what, sixteen? fifteen? yeah.. and angel is huh something like 120 years old? doesn't that shock people? and well Vampire an vampire salyer, yeah I could smell the Shaspeare's ending there! not you?

well, that aside, when will Xander finally train? and please no Cordy or other! they were horrible as a couple in the tv show, they wera so much better as friends! and don(t even talk about xander and willow kiss, disastrous! and fuck, she was the one who beg for it and he was the one to pay for it ! where is the logic?
