I adored this. A dark and compelling explanation of what happened to Roxanne after she ventured into the city to confront Hal. It is definitely very difficult to contemplate how and why Roxanne eventually decides to forgive Megamind for his transgressions but I think you did a wonderful job demonstrating how it may have happened. I love how you seamlessly combine her thoughts with Hal's actions and how you persuade the reader to feel a tangible sense desperation and to become one with Roxanne as she faces the fact that she may not live to see another day.

Wonderful story.

HOOOMG I love love LOVE this. Such a perfect look at what had to have been going on in Roxanne's mind, and I just adore this. It sums up so many of my own feelings about the movie, and I LOVE that you haven't just portrayed Hal as an unthinking unfeeling bastard. This fic is everything Roxanne is - shallow, genuine, scared, strong, you name it. I cannot tell you enough how much I truly admire this work 3

Excellent look into Roxy's mind at the time, and quite thorough. I didn't feel like anything was left unexplored; it went as far as it could in a flash!fic.

I can't review this fic - it's just TOO fantastic! ;) Just kidding. Anyway, great story, and I would love to see a deleted scene like this actually get added to the movie. You've explained the emotional back-and-forth that is felt but not very clearly communicated at this point in the movie, and done so neatly. I'd love to see more fics from you in this fandom, if you write them! :D
