Oooh, I can tell I'm gonna love this. I liked how you used race in thsi story, you dind't drown the story in it nor did you jsut mention it and leave it alone. Can't wait to read the rest.

This is well done. I like stories told from the point of view of an 'outsider,' i.e., not the hero. It somehow gives a whole new perspective into the hero persona, especially when done by what one might consider an 'innocent'-an ordinary person caught in extraordinary circumstances. Keep up the trilogy. This is a great start!
