James is a bit lackadaisical, but he knows how to focus on what is truly important.

I like how you made so very many of Harry's friends professors, as it gave you some room to work with. (Neville working with Professor Binns was an interesting surprise.)

I could see Harry getting a bit lost in the day-to-day hero thing, as his work as a hero is never done.

But James, even with a last minute essay (and pleading for credit because it wasn't precisely a research essay), came up with a very thoughtful treatise about his father.

This is a lovely story, and I'm glad I found it.
