I sat down with my supper and started reading. Soon, Danny’s bagel wanting to reappear had me laughing almost hysterically. I guess Sam Dunnatt did look and smell bad. Danny speaking Polish made me wish he spoke French too (I do French very well, better than English, and I have a few ideas on how that could go..) Sorry, that's beside the point. My point… and I shall get to the point... ;-) is that the fast pace of the story and its dramatic twist stole my breath away.

Why is that Danny getting shot always makes for such a good story? Excellent job. You are prolific writer. Your choice of language makes for some great visualization. Looking forward to more.

I don't think I reviewed the first chapter, and while I liked that one, the second chapter is amazing. I think you did a good job keeping in everyone in character. It was also very emotional. The car banter was spot on, just like in the show and made me laugh, then at the end the emotion literally took my breath away. I don't often cry while reading fanfic, but the last part when Steve is with Danny on the helicopter, definitley made me cry.

I know you said you originally planned this to be a one shot story, but I really hope it turns out to be at least a three shot now. You can't leave it that way!

I really enjoyed this! It was nice to read a story about how Danny really can swim but chooses not to. Instead of all the others about how he can't. So really good job. It was well written too. The characters were really well in-character.
