I loved this! Your idea of Nimue's curse was truly something I have yet to see in any story I've read; what a brilliant idea! I was afraid that this was going to have a tragic end, but thank goodness it didn't. Wonderfully done!

Absolutely lovely. I was crying from the halfway point through the end. Truly wonderful.

I like your story, I think you've written the mental conversations between Severus and Hermione wonderfully. Have you ever read a book called The White Darkness? It contains similar mental conversations - good stuff.

Very well written. I enjoyed it tremendously.

A bit difficult to follow sometimes, changing scenes abruptly and whatnot, but in a way it adds to the story and to her frame of mind. Thank you for a good read.

Heartbreaking, gorgeous story. Being a romantic shipper, I prefer to take the story at face value, as a happy, or at least hopeful ending, that this isn't all in Hermione's mind as some reviewers speculate. After all, if it were, wouldn't things be perfect?

I just discovered this fantastic story and had to leave you a review, hoping that you still follow them or will someday come back and find it.

This is a remarkable tale and you kept me breathless from start to finish.

Thank you for posting it.

Wow. So, I found this story through WIKTT because someone had labeled it as one of the most depressing SSHG fics out there... which, of course, meant it had to be read.

I'm very glad I did read it as it nearly brought me to tears. Mostly, fanfiction just doesn't do that for me anymore. There are one or two stories that can accomplish it, so when I say that I was teary-eyed, I definitely mean that as a compliment.

Although it's extremely depressing, there's a hint of hope in there, as long as I manage to convince myself this isn't all in her head (which I think is a possibility based on the ending style where they go back and forth the way they did in her imaginings - if indeed they were imaginings). I'm impressed with the wealth of questions and possibilities offered by this story, and the Merlin/Nimue backbone was perfect for the story.

Thank you so much! I'm very glad I came over here to read it.

Excellent story, exceptional. I cried very real tears. I expected it to end unhappily as somebody recommended this story on the WIKTT list as the most depressing they have ever read.

What a beautiful story! A definite rec! I loved how you captured her emotions, the drama, the angst, the despair- it was all very beautiful! And I loved how it kept on being depressing (I am a bit of a masochist I suppose) with even though him coming back to life, it was not the same- though I was pleased it ended on a hopeful note. (The romantic in me? Ha)

Oh..this was so sad! The guilt and regret the Hermione felt and her coping was heartbreaking. The story was darkish and haunting. I like the way you incorporated the myth of Merlin, the only way to break the spell was with death. Thank goodness that Severus was able to come out of the coma and save Hermione. I also like the way it took them some time before they were able to restart their relationship again, it seemed more realistic. Thanks for a great read.

Indeed, a very different twist on HGSS, a bit confusing at times, almost darkness infused with loss, but still intriguing.
