This is a very beautiful story. Very sad as was her tale. Her sorrow was so keenly felt in chapter 5. "The stars were dark." I loved the part in chapter 7 when Gimli speaks with her. And to quote Galadriel "It is said that the skill of the Dwarves is in their hands rather than in their tongues, yet that is not true of Gimli." Thanks for writing Gimli so well!

i love it! most lotr fanfics are either:

1)funny and make fun of all the characters

2)corny

3)storys obessesive teens have written about them and legolas.

this is great because it's serious and interesting but not corny, in fact to be honest i think you're just as good as tolkien, - ever thought about becoming an author?
