Wow, now we're introducing some mystery into the mix. Not only the mystery of the cafe thing, but the changes in Freddie's behaviour too...I like it! Quite a few steps deeper than most stories are willing to go.

Haha, still loving Sam's lines in the story. Her sudden and almost instinct-like impulse to 'hate' Freddie is amusing and believable to watch. She's just as violent and exasperating as ever, which I honestly don't think she'll ever grow out of in a world of psychotic mothers who would plant chips in their sons' heads, tormented artists who would make sculptures of a Christmas tree decorated with noses, and doormen who would steal cookies from children.

Carly's considerate yet somewhat manipulative personality was also nicely done. Her habit of talking about boys and responsibility all the time is obviously present.

I'm mostly interested in how you're going to further reveal Freddie's character, honestly. He seems to be the most different in your story from what I've read. He just seems less spazzy and socially awkward, especially seeing as he now has three potential girls to end up with. And yes, I'm curious as to why the designers decided to change Freddie's hairstyle after season one. It's not like Nathan can't wear the old one, since I've seen him with the season one hair style in videos and stuff.

Very VERY interesting plot you got going. It's not often we see well-written Seddie AU's around, and I'm looking forward to what this one will intice...

I'm glad you're going to have more characters in this story rather than just Sam and Freddie. Having mixes of Gibby, Spencer, Carly, and even Valerie make it all the more interesting and introduces a lot mroe potential.

And yes, Freddie is hot; and before that, he was freaking adorable (still is, in a way). I always feel more satisfied when characters in the show finally acknowledge Nathan's smoldering hotness instead of having his character be on the receiving end of the stick all the time.
