Oh, that was absolutely gorgeous. I'll admit that I haven't read/written much for this pairing recently, either. But, this is lovely lovely lovely. There was this fluidity that was just stunning, and I loved how you wove all of the gem symbolism into the original plotline. Stunning. :)
