This is absolutely beautiful. Just beautiful, but in a different sense. I loved how you wrote it and the perspective wasn't in I but in WE. I had to read it until the end.

I really had a feeling that it was Belarus who had killed Russia. It's out of character, but there are so many possible reasons and exceptions for this fic that one can write a fanfic of a fanfic. The last line is especially haunting.

A very good job well done. Lovely dark fic. You don't even know its darkness until the end.

At the end, as soon as they went into the bedroom, I instantly started thinking of "A Rose for Emily" I read that story last year and it was good and now that I have read this it just makes it ten time better xD

This was a great story too by the way. I liked the perspective and the structure, and you just write really, really well. Seriously. And that's not even getting to the content! I loved the plot, I loved how you carried it out and the foreshadowing with Belarus asking how a nation died... it was just plain awesome.

I do have to ask though, was the narrator America? Or is it just up for interpretation? Because I'm just going to think that it was America if that's ok.

Your writing is so strong. I keep rereading this - it is amazing - and the ending continues to hit me hard. This is honestly one of the best pieces on this entire site, and most certainly the best piece I've read for this fandom.

*shudders* Uhhhhhhhh... I saw the dark description when this was posted and I had to wait until I was in the mood for a dark story. ...Uhhhhhhhh... This is sad and weird and just...uhhhhhh! A good dark story. The ending really got me. I had a feeling Belarus had done it. So, who was narrating, though? America? I need to find something happy to do, now. Or I should probably read your other story first and get that one over with. I probably shouldn't, but. I. Can't. Help. It! ;)
