Hey same here... I hate movie!Arwen (getting in the way of true A/L love like that, and taking away my Glorfindel's role!), and I much prefer her in the books. *sigh* If only Peter Jackson can make a movie of that parallel world in your poem...

I have a question, though. What is the "joyous news" Legolas was talking about when he said he would write to Elrond and Arwen? Is it about Aragorn's return to the Deep after his fall? I didn't think Elrond and Arwen were actually informed of that...

I loved this as much as your other fic, "Hope". Long live parallel worlds...

I have read this before yet never had the presence of mind to review it; for that I am terribly sorry, and I wish I could have expressed my appreciation for this poem and the accompanying piece earlier. This is beautiful; there are few other word that can describe it. It is so bittersweet, sad and happy, but you blended the emotions wihtout seam-I absolutely LOVE it.

Sorry, this is stupid... I like this story, but I thought that Lagolas(like all elves) have grey, or grey-blue eyes? Not green. And besides... blond hair does not mix well with green ) Except I'm not sure if elves have blond hair...

I did love that scene in the movie; your poem gives a great suggestion of a possible past between the two of them...and I could easily see Arwen coming between them. (I even wrote a fic about that, hint hint...oh, am I ever pathetic!)

I also have to applaud the poem itself - it's quite difficult to get poetry to sound "just right," like this does. Congrats!
