love this all, start to finish, but the scenes with Greg and the Underground Railroad boy in the clinic, as he figures out who the young man must be and begs him for rescue... oh that was the worst!

I love this - really good job. Love your take on the Collar universe, adds some nice realistic details and jumps ahead to characters we haven't seen yet. Poor House, longing to escape and never can!

Nasty touch with Cuddy and the itemised bill. Is that how slavery works in the Collar universe?

Ezra Powell's part is the nastiest yet. Really sickening but so convincing.
