LiLa 2/20/11 . chapter 4 Bravo - this epilogue was perfect. Nice way to work in recent episodes. :) Generalissimo - Haha. It's good to see he and Hortentia worked things out after that "marriage counseling."
"by the power invested in me by the last open and democratic election of Costa Gravas" You CMU.

Lion in the Land 2/9/11 . chapter 4Ah, but I DID read this yesterday. Got smart and copied it to a Word doc so I could read it on the plane. ;) But alas, no internet in the clouds, so my review was delayed.
This was a great ending battle for this story - it moved over more to the Eureka side of things, but it was fun to see all the Chuck characters react in that world. I'm glad you brought in the Santa sleigh - it was perfect! And especially funny when Sarah took over the controls and couldn't figure them out. The candy cane button pouring more hot cocoa CMU.
Your bunnies are still adorable: "Underneath each of those bundles of fur lurks the soul of a psychotic monster, just waiting to attack!" Aww. And it was very sweet of you to build in the rubberized polymer bags to break the little darlings' fall. ;)
The hand-to-hand, or more like foot-to-foot, battle between Intercepts was hilarious. Even though you really didn't give any detailed description of it, we'd already read about the "flurry of fuzzy kicks" so that it was funny to picture. Oh, I also chuckled about Chuck being so pleased with his tranq-gun expertise. Besting Casey, no less.
But I think the best visual you give here is Morgan dangling under the bag o' flying bunnies. Too funny. I don't know how you come up with this stuff.
The only thing that felt odd to me was the ending - it was sort of sudden. Like maybe it needed one more wrap-up sentence that leaves the characters where they are, but transitions the reader out, do you know what I mean?
Okay, now to amaze you with my incredible reference-finding abilities:
Even still
Big, damn hero (sir ;P)
Why can't things ever go smooth?
And of course, the vampire bunny! You made very, very good use of him. :)

The Layman 2/8/11 . chapter 4I think this story hit a whole new level of weirdness for BOTH shows. (Although Serah trying to fly the sled was quite amusing.) Still, the ending seemed a bit abrupt. Maybe a short epilogue to clear things up? |
BDaddyDL 2/6/11 . chapter 4See I thought you had been watching hOly Grail too much |
Jimmy 144 2/6/11 . chapter 4Very good. Flying with the rabbits. Always like the question, "Is Eureka always like this?" Thanks |
 The Layman 1/30/11 . chapter 3Wow, I honestly don't know what to say. I mean...flying bunnies. Just...wow. |
The Layman 1/29/11 . chapter 2Yup, I was right. (Season 4 Eureka, eh?) Well, nothing to do now but sit back at Cafe Diem and enjoy a- Aw screw it, I'm following gurney boy. |
Lion in the Land 1/28/11 . chapter 3This...was...hilarious! Who could've guessed it was all building toward flying bunnies...and one flying INTERSECT bunny!
I'm going to have to go back and analyze how you made that bunny so flipping cute! You're not one to get overly fluffy (s'cuze the pun :P) with descriptions, and you didn't do that here, but *even still*, EVERY time you talked about him, I was all aawwww. I love how you got into its head during part of the narration with things like "large predator tracking it" - which CMU. But my favorite, favorite parts were when he was huddled in the duct eating his carrots and when he passed out after downloading the intersect. So adorable.
Oh, and that darling Sarah showing her soft side - "You... you're not going to hurt it, are you?" See, I knew her and I could be great friends. ;)
You really need to write for a TV show one of these days. Like when Taggart shot the maintenance man on accident - I could just picture it all happening. And the exchanges between the characters are so good, even minor details like a hand squeeze or a growl. Remind me of this Zane fellow (who was very funny w/ wanting to mess w/ Chuck a little :D) - was he the Santa guy in the Christmas special?
Are the patrons really allowed to order whatever they want to eat? That would be amazing!
Really fun story. I'm so happy you found the time to write it. :)

P.S. Lest I forget, I noted a couple typos: Doge s/b dodge; Spread s/b sped (I think). |
vandevere 1/28/11 . chapter 3Casey and Morgan seeing flying bunnies...
Too cute for words. I would've loved to have seen that filmed, so I could see the look on their faces...

The Layman 1/28/11 . chapter 1If this story is going where I think it's going, then you sir are going to make a lot of geeks very happy with this one. |
BDaddyDL 1/27/11 . chapter 2I am really enjoying this fic, humor no humor who cares, I am enjoying the story. Nice work. |
Lion in the Land 1/27/11 . chapter 2Nice switch to the Hungarian. I crack up every time a foreign language comes out of his mouth. Dr. Jekyll...is that canon? Or did you make him up?
While I'm anxious to get to the funny stuff you have planned, I appreciate you taking time for set up, particularly since I'm not as familiar w/ Eureka (although it's nice to have the background of that Christmas special :)). Both the General's explanation and our first intro to the Eureka characters were well done - sets the stage without being overly detailed.
Looking forward to what you have in store for us. Thank goodness for slow school weeks. ;)
