I'm really not that much into AU fics normally, but THIS... this one was just perfect. So carefully, almost meticulously written to entail all the details needed and yet not too much, just enough to leave the reader's imagination fly off from the facts, clues and hints dropped.

It was a wonderful story! My sister actually told me of this earlier today even before she'd finished reading it herself, the way she talked about it I knew it would be good. (seeing as many things are hard to capture her interest when reading!) And that isn't to mention that this is one of our shared favorite pairings ever in Sengoku Basara.

This was a well-planned, well-executed story, full of little delights. As others have said, it's a real gem! I did find the chronology a little confusing at times (such as in Act II when you were leading up to why Motochika had been avoiding Motonari for close to a month; it took me a while to figure out the timeline for some of the parts) but nothing that couldn't be determined from a closer reading.

Would love to see you tackle on some of the other popular pairings in the Gakuen Basara setting in the future; you seem to have all the characters and their nuances down pact. Anyway, thanks for the lovely read!
