Truth Is What You Make Of It 5/19/12 . chapter 9Cool chapter. Who was the guy with the white and red with a cross shape. |
Wonderbee31 5/19/12 . chapter 9Wow, Osborn is sure setting things up one way and another, and surprised that Mystique is working with him some, as well as the Red Hulk there, and will be curious to see if Willow might win the job of SS, even as she'd likely not want to because she's got a lot to do and little time to do it in, like find Xander LOL. |
Allen Pitt 3/6/12 . chapter 8Faith & Xander's methods seem to be working-only one assassin has found them so far, and he won't be talking about how he did it. Interesting that Willow couldn't hone in on Xander. Good, actually- Osborn won't be able to do it either, probably.
I wonder how much longer Osborn can maintain the pretense of legality before he's exposed. |
Wonderbee31 3/4/12 . chapter 8Wasn't expecting Frank to get it, but his luck had to run out, but did wonder if you were going to off xander as he likely was close there, or if Faith is going to do her darndest to push him away to keep him "safe" or something like that, which might mean Xander will follow anyway, and get hurt. Got to wonder what it might be that lends it to Osborn finally getting his tables turned, hint please? |
Wonderbee31 1/27/12 . chapter 7Wow, Normie's sure making waves but good, and would be interesting to see how the Old One might do in a fair fight, but then, they'd never allow that to happen at all. Will hope to see more of how Faith and Xander are doing while on the run, and what other allies they might be able to cultivate. |
Allen Pitt 1/27/12 . chapter 7People like Osborn don't last long in this sort of position -sooner or later they get exposed. The lasting effects of all this will be in the superhero community, which should be very reluctant to trust or work with the US Government again; international community of course... and the Council. The C. isn't that strong as Marvel organizations go, but they've been around forever, and will likely continue to be around for a long long time... this is gonna hurt a lot over time.
The "once a criminal..." argument can't be applied to Osborne? lol |
Allen Pitt 11/30/11 . chapter 6The aftermath of this story would be almost more interesting than the story itself - trust once lost is very hard to regain. Years later there'd be lots of heroes who wouldn't work with Shield/Hammer under any circumstances. The US gov. would have huge problems recruiting any metas for any reason, etc etc. The slayers/council would not share info with them, and so on. |
Wonderbee31 11/28/11 . chapter 6Well, it looks like Norman has finally gotten fed up here, and to me, it looks like he's going to finally overstep his bounds sooner or later, just will it be too late to recall him? |
Allen Pitt 11/9/11 . chapter 5People like Osborn eventually get exposed and defeated..but I don't think the US will be able to go back to the status quo as it was before. Too many heroes disillusioned by the experience, would now be unwilling to work with or cooperate with the US gov again. it'd take decades to undo this kind of damage, and they'd be right. This is ridiculous. What's next, Dr. Doom in charge of the Defense Dept?
The Council has been around for millennia-I assume it'll simply go further underground and stop sharing info with any outside organizations. |
Wonderbee31 11/5/11 . chapter 5Well, Osborn and Fisk working together is scary enough, and will look forward to more of Faith and Xander. Nice to see some of the Capes trying to do something, just looks like it's still stings more than anything else, and will wonder how Norm'll act when it's something major he can't cover up, as well as how long before he makes a move on Giles and the members of the Council? |
Allen Pitt 10/12/11 . chapter 4When the Punisher is the rational one, things are pretty bad. Osborn is doing very well, but his problem is, when it comes down to it, he's a super villain, employing super villains. Sooner or later this will come out. The problem is surviving the 'sooner' part, of course.
Hopefully Xander & Faith have more of a plan than just running away... |
Wonderbee31 9/24/11 . chapter 4Wow, Castle's really looking ahead for once, instead of just being the unsanctioned killer, he's thinking and striking against Osborn on a multiple front. Liked how the Alpha Flight got their digs in as well, and looking forward to when Osborn finally loses it in a public forum. |
Storm Warning 9/24/11 . chapter 4Excellent. Another update soon? |
Allen Pitt 6/25/11 . chapter 3Sounds like a lot of super hero types will be heading for the border/emigrating. When this is all over, how many will want to come back? The US could find itself in a bad situation in a couple of years. And it would deserve it.
Giles seems very naive in this. He should simply order the withdrawal of all slayers/watchers from US territory until the situation is resolved.
In Marvel terms Faith isn't very powerful, taking her down won't be hard, if they can find her... |
Wonderbee31 6/25/11 . chapter 3Dang, it always struck me how the incredible coincidence for Osborn to get everything like he did there, and makes me wonder who's pulling the strings behind everything, as it sure seems like someone bigger than him is there; though with it looking like Faith is going on the run, I hope she and Xander finds some allies soon. |
