I loved this sort of one-shot in a way. Ithought the dialogue and everything suited all the characters, and Huntress, the way u had her figure everything out was perfect. Great detail and specific info was put in for her. I thought it was great. If u want to i'd like to see it made into a story.

Good story, great character depth, written very will with nice opposites betwen Babs whom Dick loves but has him upset and Huntress whom Dick distantly cares for yet gives him support in this crisis.

Something that impressed me about this (and other) stories by Syl is how fast she comes up with them. Not only is the characterization and dialog right on, and the plots great, and the spelling & grammar letter-perfect, but the stories come out as fast as the pro's do it. A for certain.

Yes!Yes! This would be so cool if this happened in the comics. Dick and Helena need to get back together. Don't get me wrong, I like Barbara and all, but I LOVE Huntress. She's such a bad-ass bitch, I can relate to that (well, okay, not the bad-ass part, but I've got the bitch part nailed).And frankly, I think Dick should be with a bad girl, it'll keep him on his toes.

I always enjoy Nightwing/Huntress stories, so I had to check this one out when I got a moment. Personally, I'd love to see this continued, a kind of possible alternate ending or side story to the Murderer storyline, where NW and Huntress work together, but I guess trying to secondguess an ongoing storyline would be difficult in the extreme. About the only thing I didn't agree with was Dick's comment that he wouldn't be standing if Bruce really wanted to take him down. IMO Bats would have a much harder time doing that than most think he would, but that could be NW's classic inferiority complex kicking in there. Either way, it's been a while since I've read one of your stories, Syl, I'm glad I chose this one to immerse myself in, once more.

This is sooo great. Poor Dick, I'm glad he didn't give into the idea that Bruce was guilty. Loved the way you showed just how close and important Bruce and Dick are to each other even with no sight of Batman. Love to read more and thanks for sharing!
