Just wanted to thank you for this. I've read it numerous times and it still brings me to tears. So glad to find an author who appreciates Sam.

No, seriously, this is like the moment we've been waiting for when everything concerning Sam, Dean and their relationship is okay. Well, maybe not ia/i-okay but at least Winchester-okay because they deserve a really nice, long break and you've showed that perfectly. Very well done!

It's not often that I call something a favorite right away, but this is definitely a favorite It's well put together and really speaks to the heart and mind of anyone who loves these characters.

Humble and soft-hearted little brother Sam would never think of such of thing for himself, but proud and devoted big brother Dean would think of it for him. It's good to know that Cas would see the importance of it as well, whatever amount of time had passed.

Loved this. An amazing tribute to an amazing sacrifice. If it didn't already seem absolutely necessary to us all, it certainly does now after reading this :) Sam's brave and humble sacrifice of himself for the sake of the world needs to be recognized. Not only is it epic in proportion, but it is the essence of our sweet and kind and brave Sam. And of course it would have to be Dean, with the help of Cas, who cares enough to make sure that there is such recognition. If there's anything we know, it's that no one else will do it.

You even gave us a great scene with the brothers in the Impala to start it all off :) Well done from beginning to end.

Nice. How great that there is going to be a church on the site of Sam's astounding act of courage and self-sacrifice... How perfect that Dean's loving tribute to Sam will be preserved for all to see... Really enjoyed the scene with the boys at the beginning too. A very well formed and well written piece. Wonderful.

I like the banter between the boys, the caring way Sam goes out of his way to satisfy Dean's thirst for information on the marker.

Its a nice transition into the future. The thing the show has seemed to forgotten is the brother's love for each other is what drew most of us in, in the first place.

I know alot are saying Sera has let us down, but for me it started in the end of season 4. I didn't want the typical brothers fighting each other and felt that Kripe made a mess too. I guess if TPTB can't give us what we want, we will just have to write it ourselves. I don't mind a heavy emotional moment if we get the payoff. Both brothers are Heroes, and Sam can be selfish, but both are what make the show interesting.

I love how you started this story with Dean and Sam in the Impala, a scene I could imagine and would love to see again.

When it switched to the future, I figured it was the graveyard from "SS", but I didn't understand what that met. What a powerful ending as we read Dean's words to the world about Sam. I love that Castiel found a way to honor his friends with a church.
