Aww, a happy ending even for the 'not quite good' characters... Well-written, too. I also like to imagine Scar and Zira reunited in the afterlife (even if she did commit suicide), content of the fact that Kovu is to become king. You added Nuka to that vision, as well. Bravo!

This was beautiful. Gorgeously written, your descriptions where amazing, spot on. But, I want a sequal. I want to see her reaction to Scar, see your explination of how he's changed, what he looks like now that he's in the afterlife. I want you to do this, because you're the only one who will get it right. I can repay you with an art trade, or a ficton peice of your choice, I just want you to finish this.

Very good story, even if it is a bit short. I had always thought that they left some loose ends in TLK2, but you tied them up perfectly. _ I enjoyed it!

Once again, a very touching and well thought-out fic. Whatever one's beliefs are, I think any who would believe in an afterlife for lions would think your vision of it to be a very good guess at it. And Zera's change was handled quite well - it sounds like she could've done this, surely. And her stubborn attitude to the end suits her very well. _

I like this little tale. I like it's ideas, the mild feeling of tension as Zira struggles and the calmness of the ending. Maybe in death Zira will finally be able to "let it go".
