Interesting introspective tour or the non/ongoing relationship of Kakashi and Sakura. She's a memorable sought after non-girlfriend if only in his mind and he's quite the catch for her if only in her wishes. One can only hope the other makes a move and seals a once in a lifetime deal.

I think you got the whole concept of wanting and not wanting right on. Your narrative is very unique, giving the reader a sense that it is actually Kakashi and Sakura talking, and yet it's not, so it makes it very real - almost tangible. You also created some very nice and memorable quotes ;)

That was really outstanding... one of the rare stories that centers around the: what would they really be like... and not all that wishful thinking.
