I really like this story, but you should know that The Breath of Life is used to bring someone who as already died back to life. Richard was still alive, giving him the breath of life was completely pointless, because it didn't do anything.

Poor Kahlan she really needs to let Richard in. She will never move beyond this if she doesn't deal with it. Richard spending time with this little girls is adorable though and I'm sure Kahlan would be heartbroken to know Ashley is calling Richard 'Daddy' and she hasn't seen it yet.
