I just finished rewatching this story arc tonight, and then I logged on here and found this story as if it were waiting for me. Very well done.

Such wonderful little touches to the story, bookcased between Sisko leaving his baseball and getting it back. The characters are caught so perfectly. The ambiguity of war and survival is especially well done. Odo and his thoughts are especially touching, a man who truely belongs nowhere and feels it keenly.

Looking forward to more stories.
