Great coda to the episode...I'm surprised they never followed up with the housing commissioner illegalities on the show.

Anyway, loved the Steve and Danny banter...especially this line...

"I'll bet you've been dying for a case like this where you get to play Rambo."

For as much as Danny and Steve claim to either "hate" and/or "annoy" each other. They're good for one another and I really don't think they can ever go back to not having each other in their lives.

This scene totally fits with the episode. It reads as though the episode writers could have written it, with the right amount of back and forth and lovely snarkiness that is the Steve/Danny partnership. Hope you continue with H.5.O fanfic - you're very good at it.

That episode was quite a ride. I'm sure they would have done something like this. They were separated on a job for first time, that I can remember, anyway. They'd want to check in. Good they got some time to get into 'normal' again. :D

Oh, btw, no big deal, but Danny took bottles of beer out of the fridge at the beginning, but placed a can on the counter at the end.

Very nice conclusion to the last Monday's episode. I can so see those two having this conversation. As far as I am concerned...Steve can play Rambo anytime. I like watching him in action.

I also love Danny calling Steve on his Rambo impersonation - the entire time they were running around in the rain forest, I was giggling away at the vague absurdity of it all xD

A few people put up different versions from this episode but funny how each are different angles and different parts. I liked the friendship here between Danny and Steve and how you got him coming in from the kidnapping episode. Which surprised me cause I would think that Danny would knock with procedure..lol...But their friendship with the banter shown through in the way you wrote this. I enjoyed how Danny need to go through his day and see what really happened with Steve...Their talk was great and I loved this tag...Sue

Good follow-up to the episode! I really like the way Steve and danny balance each other in this story. Steve certainly does seem to have a Rambo complex. Love your stories!

So very nicely done! Just what the episode needed, a bit of banter and a beer. I really wish the writers would give you a call when they need a great ending to an episode. "Hello, Faye? We've got the story mapped out but we need to tie it all up so the fans are satisfied. Got any suggestions?" Oh well. I guess that's what Fanfic is for! Thanks for sharing your talent with us and for giving us a very satisfying ending to a great episode!
