I reviewed this once before... almost exactly four years ago. A few weeks over four years. But it's about the same. That's holding power if I've ever seen it haha to reread many years later and just fall in love with it all over again. it's sad to know that this will never be finished but now I think I'm gonna move on and read the shoebox project that so many people rave over

so I just finished reading this and was thinking how this was such a good remus/sirius story that it was in the same league as the shoebox project, then I go to your profile and find out your one of the writers of the shoebox project. So I was like of course you are there can't be that many people out there who can write such amazing remus/sirius shiped storys. You are incredable and one of the people who really created the remus/sirius ship.

You wrote this ages ago but I'm going to review anyway. I think you're a really good writer. So much fanfic goes to fast so as to keep people interested...but you have a nice pace which gives a more rewarding story. Not sure if I like non-canon Sirius. My allure to Sirius is his dark past and I find it so integral to his character. But then you gave a lovely dark past to Remus which was very reminicent of Angela Carter's 3 wolf tales in 'The Bloody Chamber'...so that was very nice. Anyway I'm looking forward to reading more.

I'm liking this story so far! Also, thanks for putting in the French. I was trying to understand as much as I could with my limited French (and surprisingly, managing it!) I have to say that I gave up on trying to understand the song though :P
It just adds something more to the story for me, that Remus has French roots and a different mother language.

I know that you have a real life and shoebox, but someday you should try to come back to this because it's FANTASTIC and possibly my all-time favorite non-shoebox fic.

Such a beautifully well written story. I loved every moment. The characters are beyond vivid and I feel that each chapter is filled witht the intangeble feelings of the young love that prefers to whisper its story in innocent ears.

Oh my God. This is one of the most amazing things I've ever read. What are you doing writing fanfiction? Go write a book and publish it! And then tell me the title so I can buy it. ^^

I'm going to list all the things I like about this fic now.

1. The way you characterize Remus. He's quiet, wary, and so amazingly beautifully sad. I don't think I've ever seen a fic where Remus is quite that way.

2. The way you characterize Sirius. He's so loud and impulsive but so, so careful when he's with Remus--so afraid he'll lose Remus.

3. The dynamic between Sirius and Remus. It's so soft, so delicate...so precious. It makes me want to hold on to the moments between them and stretch them out so they'll never end.

4. The way you didn't talk too much about how the characters look, but more about how the characters act, and how they just are. That gave the fic even more depth.

5. Your understanding of people. Every character's motive is crystal clear for everything they do. They're so clear that even for the slimiest characters (i.e. Snape) I can understand how they feel.

6. Remus's total uke-ness. He's definitely bottom. ^^

Write more soon, please! Or else I'll die of being deprived of good writing.
