Was that the ending? I can't tell! If it is, this was an incredibly beautiful story and deserves far more praise than it's been given. I'm not a writer(though I try!)But I do consider myself an artist, or something akin to it, and your story has inspired more fan art than anything I have yet to read. I read your fic straight through and must now stay up the rest of the night and attempt to capture some of your words beauty on my paper. I probably won't be too successful but I shall try. The story was/is incredibly dark yet seemingly bright. I don't know how you did it but it is truly amazing. I'm babbling like an idiot because I've never been so awed by a fic before. I don't know that you will even see this since you have not updated for some time yet, but I would just like to put in my cents worth of commentary. Thank you for a truly wonderful writing. And may I just add that the use of French was a brilliant way to give something more to the story, even if I had trouble reading it at first. This is such an awsome story. I'm assuming you've stopped writing on it from the last update, but it would rock if you'd continue it. It's one of the best Sirius/Remus stories. It's also just such a sweet story and I really like it.

I actually found this story a long time ago a bit after Christmas. I absolutely fell in love with the plot and the story. The romance between Sirius and Remus in this story's so pure and sweet. You never see their friendship in the books enough, and seeing a ROMANCE in this fanfiction just fixes the gap a bit. I'm definitely going to add this to my favorites.

it's frightfully good, really. i don't think i've ever read a better fanfic... and it gives some of the books i've read a fair shot for their money, too. it's really, honestly, truly terrific. it's also somewhat unsettling that this story has been left un-updated for a very long period of time, though... and i do hope it gets one soon, because it's just really so good. although... i can't see how this could possibly end.

I love your fic! Your writing style and characterization are unique and never boring, and the way you stylishly throw in French is brilliant. I enjoy that you don't overuse the French, you only add when necessary. I love Remus' father, as well as the odd and strangely satisfying relationship between Sirius and Remus. I've never seen character dynamic like that before, and its incredibly refreshing.
What do you mean, your "limited knowledge" of the French language? I've most assuredly seen worse, (far worse, *wince*). You handle it well. I haven't any complaints, except that last letter at the end of chapter eighteen (which, I pray every day, will not be that last chapter. I might well be sending you demanding fanmail, as I myself am a fan of threats. _)
The first sentence of the letter should probably be: Merci. Je sais ce que tu avoir fait, et je comprends ce que tu voulais maintenant. Je pense que je sais (by the way, nice differentiation between 'penser' and 'savoir') aussi ce qu'elle voulait.
