Considering the soul-swapping, its hard to think of this as a Ranma + Akane story. Then again, considering the personalities, its hard NOT to think of this as a Ranma+Akane pairing. I think I'll go with the latter option.

This is just an AMAZING story. At some level, I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't finish your last epilogue, but I'm satisfied with what you have here. At soo many times, I was in tears during this story. Soo touching! And I've lost count of the HOURS I've wasted just reading this. Heck, I actually got addicted to this story.

The most touching scene for me was when Akane (aka Kodachi) decides to go for divorce. THAT was just soo heart-wrenching! I want to go back and read that again. (Think I will, too)

Perhaps I'm a bit daft, but what happened with the Happosai confrontation ? He just let them walk away ? It's a bit surprisingly that they weren't banished from the clan at that point. (But, since he mentioned that he wasn't going to fight Happosai either ... well, its just confusing for me)

For both, the drama and romance, this is the ONLY fanfic that tops "Hearts of Ice". In fact, you've got R+A's interactions down so to pat, that I'm awed.

I could go nitpicking flaws, but I won't. It's just nice to see an author CARE for the story formatting. Could be perfected - but the effort done here can be easily seen.

I'm one of those notorious oldbies from the fanfiction world, who comes back to read fanfiction with contempt and then finds themselves lost in it all over again, and NEVER COMMENTS ON ANYTHING. Oh, how cruel I am. And I finished this wondrous tale, oh, two nights ago? Something like that. And it never once occurred to me to comment on it. At all.

And then something that happened to me today made me remember the way it used to feel, back when I wrote fanfiction, to really get a review from someone who cared. And I couldn't walk away from your fic without letting you know.

This was a wonderful story. I found myself lost in it in ways I didn't believe myself capable of anymore. Thank you. You wrote a rich tale that I couldn't seem to pull myself away from, and you should be commended. Well done you. You rock. You are The Sex. (I hope, if you still intend to write the second epilogue, that you include some sort of scene with Ranma and Akane, though. Your ending was pitch-perfect for their relationship, but...something in me wants some resolution. You know? Evidence that it all worked out for them. Or something.)

I've just finished reading your interesting story and i must say that i coudn't wait for the last chapter to be uploaded. However, i was a bit dissapointed when the ending wasnt really suffienct enough to finish a history that you've created between ranma and akane. also, you didnt really explained well enough how akane and shampoo ever got along that made the present shampoo give in to her request of finding ryoga in the future. kodachi's death wasnt also as 'huge' as it should be remembering how she's one of the most unforgettable characters here. Furthermore, ive always pictured 'ryouhei' more of ryu's character than ryouga..halfway through the story i think you've forgotten to fully explain where ukyou ended up..

To conclude , there wasnt actually a sufficient closure and my last guess is that you're just waiting to end everything on your last epilogue

i love your story though and it will remain as one of my favorite reads but im just hoping that you would end it better..

I'm quite in awe of you. I can't really say I understand the story all so well as there were so many twists and turns in it. However, I can tell that you've put a lot of effort into it. The detail to historic rituals and such was really amazing and made the story seem all the more real. This story made me some of the characters in a new light. Nabiki was absolutely amazing as Ranma's sister, and it made sense how she would use their curse to help out in tricky situations. And, the complex situation with Akane's maid and.. her "fiance" was really intriguing. The story seemed like it was going into soo many different directions...

I really feel that it would have been easier to understand if the story had been broken up into at least 2 parts because there was soo much going on in the past and all these complex characters. It just seems a bit too much to unify under one title. Then there's the question of what Ryoga went through exactly and how he felt about having his wife find her true love back in the past. I don't think every little thing needs to be explained out.. I dunno. It just seemed as if he wasn't really need in this whole affair but he still seemed to play a role. I dunno. I'm really confused right now and I don't know what I'm saying anymore. but yah. I think I'll go through this story again when my thoughts are less muddled.. cuz yah it's one of the best Ranma fics I've ever seen. You did an amazing job. ^_^

Good god, this is fantastic. An excellent and surprising resolution. It really looked bleak there for a while. Damn impressive.

OMG i cant belive that this fic is going to end( although i thought that this was the last chap) anyway i was kind of disapointed that nabiki didnt end up with sohin but the fic was awesome. although im a bit puzzle because, how on earth did akane end up with a sister like nabiki? i mean sohin and akane were only bro/sis by father so unless someone from the bloodline of nabiki (aka Sei) ended up with a tendo...god my brain is smoking. Anyway great chap and cant wait for the final epilogue ^_^

What an awesome twist at the end! The Saotomes really DON'T learn from their mistakes, lol. Also, thank you so much for adding Akari at the end. I've always been a Ryoga/Akari fan myself, so it's always nice to see her given her proper due. The deleted scenes were a pleasure to read as well! It's a shame that your computer crashed, but it's amazing that you still managed to finish (hopefully) everything you set out to!

On the other way I think that you made a mistake and added one deleted scene from the chapter 9 at the end of the chapter 21 without any warning and the readers can be a lil confused.

Just finished and loved the ending.

Another splendit chapter in this master piece of yours. This is one of the best Ranma-fics around. You're a very gifted writer, who has his elements of style down - this fic being a perfect example to point to when people are doings things wrong. The amount of research you did for this you just don't see in fan fiction; it really shows what a high quality writer you are. What I like is that you created a romance between Ranma and Akane that is believable. Akane isn't made out to be the demon here that someone people who can't understand a bit of slapstick comedy make her out to be. She also isn't the saint, that most lesser experienced and talented writers paint her as. You do something that is really hard to do, and show the real Akane, a nice person with the original character flaws intact. Anyway, you do a great job in pulling the love story off.

Now, I must admit that I am sad to see this story end; I enjoyed the ride. It is great thought that one of the great ranma fics is complete though. It must have taken a lot of dedication to pull that off, knowing how life can get so busy at times that it is hard for a writer to find time to do the thing he enjoys: write. I congradulate you for pulling it off. :) Also, now that this fic is over, I hope you decide to stick around in the Ranmafic community, because anything you'll write will be a pleasure to read. Talent like yours is rare, and it is always a rare treat these days when such a high quality fic gets posted or updated. :) Anyway, thanks for the story.

yay! finally finished. there was a time when i thought you would never finish. there are a few good fics out there that have been in progress for years but never finished. it makes me so happy that you are a great author, not only for writing an awesome story and doing all this research for it, but actually working on it for so long and being able to finish it. this fic was awesome. it shows that you worked very hard on it. ranma's and akane's stubborness almost killed me right to the end, but i'm happy that she made the decision for both of them because he never would have gone back for her. he was prepared to let her go on her marry way and never see her again. after kodachi's death though, why not i asked myself? i still had a difficult time understanding why he didn't just go get her or confess his true feelings. they were so close! but anyway, it all ended well. once again, awesome. i can't say it enough times and i can't think of anymore adjitives to use for your fic. so we'll leave it at that, okay? thank you for working on this and for finishing this fic that has had me on the edge of my seat for a few years.
