Hey! I really enjoyed your story. The plot was interesting and the writing? It was fantastic! I appreciated the incredible metaphor about heartts :) This story was of high quality rarely found in fanfiction!
Just a side note about the TV shows, most Americans (especially nerds, which is what Nina is supposed to be) are more familiar with British television than you might suppose. I'm an American, but also fan of Sherlock, Merlin, and DW (though "Hey! Who turned out the lights?" scares me almost as much as the angels)

Oh my gosh. You are one great writer. You amaze me with stories like this- they are just beautiful. I loved it all-the concept, the characterization, the writing ethics-AMAZING.

I agree with you about the doctor who weeping angels thing, my reaction was just like Alfies.I think its brilliant and so unique the way you brought the mentions of British film and television in to this, I've never seen media brought in to a story in the way the characters discussed, its some thing small but some thing special because its new and very well done. And the way you show Mara and Jerome beginning this relationship is so powerful, some thing that hits the reader full force in the chest, because it shows the emotions that Jerome is struggling with, as he suffers under this impression that no one cares, only to forget all he has ever known for this new love Mara is giving to him in that one conversation. You have created some thing special here, some thing that is only shown in minor detail in the show, this conversation covers every thing in literally a whole season. I hope to read more of this type of one shot in the future. Because it makes some thing sweet out of some thing sour, and there is too little of that on the fanfiction web.

That was incredible! I have no idea why I like reading fics with sooo much sorrow but i'm glad I do because every now and then I come across something as amazing as this. Btw yesthe Weeping Angels episode of Doctor Who is really scary, the Angels and the Silence are the DW aliens Ii am most afraid of, they really scare me :( This fanfic has been one of my favourites I have ever ever read! AMAZING! I wish there was more to it! This is also the longest review i've ever given that shows how amazing it is!

so i've read this story before but I read it again and the first time I read it, I was a poor soul, just like Nina, having no idea what Doctor Who, Merlin, Torchwood, and Sherlock were. But then I read it again and I know exactly what you're talking about! I love love love Doctor Who and Merlin, and I like Sherlock. I still haven't watched Torchwood yet, though.

But yeah, that part made me laugh ;)
