I've read the summary of your story many times and thought that I don't necessarily want to read a story about a Sheldon who isn't Sheldon. But since I generally like your stories I decided to give it a try.

I did like the masculine version of Sheldon, but even so I have to admit that this story wasn't my cup of tea. (And the sex scene.. For a while I was a bit scared for Penny.)

I guess I can't let go of the image I have of the characters, so AU stories aren't my thing. But your idea was excellent, and I'm sure that people who are more into AU enjoyed this a lot.

AND, I've got to say that I liked the epilogue very much. That was the best part. :)

WOAH. ALMOST sexually assaulted a woman? I'd say he did a pretty damned good job, and she's ALRIGHT with that? Jesus, Mary and Joseph, that ain't on.

Non-con is one of my kinks, but I generally prefer to be warned and for the characters to acknowledge that it IS non-con, not just treat it like it is absolutely normal and okay.

I'm going to keep reading because I really don't think you did it on purpose and I really do like the story so far!

Well, i wasn't a really fan of AU before, but some days ago I felt the need to read some Texas!Sheldon, I was looking for jeans, boots, maybe a gun, the hot sun of Texas... and of course, a little of Shenny to make it perfect. And omg! I had read the summary of your fanfiction before and I started to search it like crazy. I have enjoyed the whole fic, but the end was my favourite part. Perhaps because I wasn't expecting that, and suddenly they were our Penny and Sheldon, and they were talking about paralel and alternate universes, and she muted the tv, and "Mr Beautiful Mind", "it's Doctor Beautiful Mind"... agsfgfjhsdjg it was perfect. Congratulations. I also want to tell you, that I love the way you describe, you make the scene appears in mind like a movie, with every details, it seems so real. I loved to read you, seriously :) Lots of kisses.

What team from Texas is the tigers, I don't know any college team named the tigers unless it's high school?

I find the entire thought of Sheldon acting "Texas" but still retaining his basic personality (versus his insanely neurotic and maniacally egotistical attitude as we know him) incredibly wonderful.

I also giggled at the multiverse shrimp reference.

I must admit, this story was rather amusing . Just the idea of Sheldon in construction, not to mention all of the borderline explosive... "interactions" with Penny. Amusing, but very well-done. Plus it was fun seeing Sheldon's brother, who is left as a large "?" in canon, for the most part.

Now /there's/ the Sheldon I know. _

I liked this little epilogue. It tied it all together and was just a lovely way to end it. It's nice seeing them back in their usual 'world'.
