I've always loved your sense of timing-each revelation of a character's background, relationships, or emotions is always perfectly placed to add the greatest amount of poignancy possible. The portrayals of HG and SS are so honest and natural; I'm excited to see them develop here! I'm so excited for your other updates as well...I hope we get to read "Miss Stewart" and "Carrefour" soon! Interesting story so far as it is rare to find stories wherein Voldemort is defeated, his Death Eaters are more dangerous than ever, and that the Order is still fighting. I wonder what happened to Hermione for her to seek refuge in Snape's home?

Very nice start, looking forward to seeing what happens next. I'm curious to see where Harry and Ron are and why the Weasleys are in hiding. I'm guessing that the time frame is between the death of Dumbledore and before LV installs Severus as headmaster? Or this is completely AU and all bets are off? Anyway, am sure all will become clear as the story posts.

I'm so excited (haven't started reading yet) - I LOVED Howl's Moving Castle as a kid and I think the magical world in it really got me excited for the eventual Harry Potter series.

I've got to say I could see some parallels maybe existing in the storyline with Howl and what his sister thinks of him (as well as how he appears to people back home).

I'm sure I'll be back. ;)
