I'm not sure if with this fic you wanted to glorify the Zutara pairing or bash it altogether by showing how shallow and meaningless and hurtful it would be for everyone involved.

Regardless of your motives, I'm sorry to say that I don't like it.

It was undoubtedly well written - you are an excellent writer, IMHO - but a bit too open to negative interpretation for my taste.

I like Zutara and I accept older Kataang, but somehow in this fic I ended up disliking every single character you portray (except for Momo, of course - you gotta love Momo! :D); Zuko and Katara came across as heartless, and Aang as childish and pathetic.

I sincerely hope you take this review as constructive criticism and not as a flame of bashing of any kind.

You are a talented writer and for the most part I truly enjoy the stories you share.

Oh, my goodness...

I'll start off by saying that you're a fantastic writer. The language you use is so fluid, so real, so majestic in its own right that it pulls in your readers. But what a melancholy story. It makes me very, very sad. It's a stunning change of Katara's character mainly since she's always been the upright one who focuses soley on what is right. We all know Zuko has the potential for lying, for cheating, for stealing but Katara exhibiting that kind of behaviour, it's a bit of a culture shock.

This story tells more than about a love hidden in the dark. It tells about how people can change people. And how some people never change. And that when people who stay the same try to stay with the people who've changed, it will inevitably form some kind of chaos.

Fantastic story as always.

I have goosebumps after reading this! Oh my freaking gosh...this just HAS to be one of my favourite Zutara one-shots! I loved how that argument spurred so naturally between the two of them, I almost believed that they were truly angry at each other. Many of my thoughts on the relationship between Aang and Katara were voiced in this fic, so I'm really happy that someone out there wrote what I simply couldn't :) Gosh and that ending...it has me BEGGING for a sequel but at the same time this story stands so strongly on its own there is no real need. I just want more Zutara moments from you because THIS was amazing! I loved every second of it :D

Great job once again, I look forward to reading more great tales such as this in the future.
