The subtitles to the chapter titles are very amusing. And I like the alternate conclusion to the Chuunin Exam Arc even though I'm very curious about what will happen with Tenten. That was a shocking but believable twist.

This is what I wish Sarutobi had done in the real series. In one decision he has prevented the circumstances that screwed over at least three characters in the series in a way that wasn't too crazy. And I can't even feel sorry for cannon fodder because he overstepped his position and was too stupid to live (ninja really should know better).

The story rocks. It seems like a simpler version of the Naruto universe with all the changes I wish could have happened, but probably wouldn't have worked in the real series. Of course, I love stories where Naruto has real friends and Sakura isn't annoying and I really enjoy the changes that have been made to the personalities of characters like Hinata and Sakura.

Mmmm tits.

Good story, can't wait for more when you have it. Do it on your own schedule however, since I don't want whatever you get to be rushed.

Oh my god, Sage of Toads...

I apparently at one point read the first 8 chapters of this, but forgot it thoroughly enough to read it all again when I came across it.

Just... words fail me. Sage of Toads. Those three words should sum it up well enough by now, I'm sure there must be several thousand reviews from those more eloquent than me expressing more particularly why your works are so enjoyable.

I love stories where Sarutobi is a badass... both that he's able to prevent the village from treating Naruto like crap for being the fox's host, and that he's an awesome enough fighter to pwn Orochimaru (and Sasori, too!).

It's cool that Naruto has learned the Hirashin jutsu, but considering his slowness in performing it, it seems more like a "walking thunder god" than a "flying thunder god." I hope he eventually gets better at it! :)

Chapter three, loving it already. Light-hearted tone (no damn deconstruction), sweet fight scenes, crazy but cool characterization, no romantic plot tumor (yet), well-written despite the casual tone... avoiding all the common pitfalls. Awesome.
