JennyRad 10/1/03 . chapter 1This is lovely. Really entertaining.
I'm everso glad you explained *why* at the end, though, because I'd never have spotted the original phrase in a month of Sundays! |

 Mackenna 7/29/03 . chapter 1**giggles**
O goodness, that was really funny! Poor Lupin, having Trelawny after him! You characterized him quite well, and I loved the fact that you highlighted his more "marauderish" side at the end! Very good story, I loved it! |
Jeanne St. Croix 7/28/03 . chapter 1What can I say? It was simply hilarious! Poor ‘dear’ Professor Lupin... Sybill has a crush on him! But I loved to see his mischievous and sarcastic side. My favorite line was ‘Remus had the very disturbing feeling that she was about to “see” something along the lines of a love cruise. Or even a honeymoon. He stepped back instinctively’ I can imagine his sheer terror! |
PrincessEilonwy 7/27/03 . chapter 1Poor, poor, poor, poor Remus! This is awful! *shudder shudder shudder* I love it! |
Megan 3/23/03 . chapter 1 That was a very cute story. It made me laugh out loud. I especially liked the Distancing Spell and Remus's revenge. |

Moon Fever 10/9/02 . chapter 1'Allo, another Werewolf from the registry? Heh, well anyway. I must say I adore this story! No wonder it was nominated, *whispers* I hope you win!, anyway...I love how you've kept the chracters true to their nature, and I've always wandered why Remus 'positively fled' when Trelawney offered a crystal gazing session. It's very good, not weird and it *is* funny! All the best for your writing future :)

Green Eyed Lady 10/7/02 . chapter 1Dear Laurus Nobilis,
Haylo, my dear, and congratulations. On behalf of the Bloody Brilliant! Awards, I'd very very happy to tell you that 'The Dangers of Being a Gentleman' has been nominated for a Bloody Brilliant! Award under the category of Comedy.
The nominator was Remusjay, aka Homertown, who says: 'Cute and clever. I think it's fun when writers take a silly little detail
out of one of the books and run with it.'
You've been contacted for two reasons:one, to give you the option of declining the nomination, particularly if you visit our webpage ( tbba) and don't wish to be associated. If you do indeed accept your stories will be linked, and, if you do win an award, we will take your acception as permission to post them in our archives. Also if you wish to send a revised and/or beta'd version before the 7th of October of the fic.
There are no further responsibilities involved with accepting, but there is an Award Banquet in a private chatroom on a weekend of November (the 23 and 24). We'd like to have everyone involved and all nominated writers present; we'll beee annoucing the results of the awards and probably just revelling in a bit of cyber HP universe... which is always *cough cough* a perfectly legitimate way to spend an hour, isn't it? We'd be delighted to have you along.
Congratulations again. We wish you the best of luck in all your writing - long live HP!
Sincerely,
Jobey
