its really interesting actually. i like how you wrote homura's point of view in this story. it shows her dedication and even love towards madoka. however i would like to read another story that would be based on madoka's point of view. its really interesting.

After watching episode 10, Homura’s pain is now understandable because no matter how many times she travel back to time; she’s unable to save Madoka. You know, that reminds me a lot the movie “The Time Machine” from 2002, when Dr. Alexander Hartdegen tries so many times to save her beloved bride-to-be from her fatal fate but couldn’t do it. Then he asks the question “Why the past can’t be changed?” Now, in Homura’s case, she is convinced that no matter how many times she has to, she’ll save Madoka, even if that means to be alone.

Well done with this story, even if you write it after episode 8, is more meaningful without knowing the whole background. Good work.

This makes me really wish that the anime would stop beating around the bush with this paring, and come right out with "YEAH, HOMURAxMADOKA, WHAT! GOT SOMETHING TO SAY!"

I can hardly believe that there are already really good fics like this for Magical Girl Madoka...when there's only been 8 episodes.

I've never gotten into an anime so early into it, and seen fanfiction of this quality, but maybe that's just me.

It makes me rather sad that an "everybody dies" ending probably will happen, Urobuchi does so love to troll.

Still, I really enjoyed this, which is surprisingly as I don't particulary like Homura herself. I do think you caught her character rather well though, her stroic guardian vibe she has going coming across nicely.

I feel two scenes which slip out of first person might work better in it though, Homura pov as the other girls down and the futility of it all would work nicely for example, without infringing on the HomuMado focus.

And a Madoka version would really compliment this one, though it would have to be quite impressive as her character is one I simply can't stand in the slightest haha.

I'll watch for updates, but good job on this one regardless.
