I couldn't stop laughing at the near constant teasing going on here. Poor Piandao, going through so much for love. XD

I do love the idea of this pairing, it's so unique and it really gets me thinking. And the fact that Iroh set it all up makes it that much more entertaining. The man is such a chronic meddler.

I have to say I liked "Stand So Close" better. Why on earth would you need to break Sokka and Suki up for a story that has nothing to do with Suki and little to do with Sokka? I mean, why bother to throw that in there, with no explanation as to *why* they would break up when they were both clearly blissfully in love the last time we saw them?

Other than that, the story is nice. Piandao learns his friends aren't as uptight as he thought. :D I'm really not so sure about Piandao's characterization, though. I see him as a man who would want to do the honourable thing without being forced into it by everyone including the Fire Lady and the Avatar. I mean, if she *doesn't* want to marry him, then fine, but he at least has to ask her, to give her the option, otherwise he's basically using her and aparenlty planning on continuing to do so until some undetrmined point in the fugure where he expects her to lose interest in him.

I LOVE it. Sweetest. Crack. Ever.

The language isn't too flowery, and the plot has the right flow.

Pair of old foxes! He he, they really got him. Well at least Piandao will have some happy moments and that's what friends are for. But Sokka will have some hard time with his master after that.
