It surprised me to see so few reviews because this is my favorite story in the fandom, and one of the few stories of any fandom I go back to at least once a year. The balance between the two is perfect, and if sometimes it gets slightly soap-opera-y, it is strong it that: more zetsuai/bronze-style than actually dramatic. So thanks for writing. (I thing the prologue is probably the best though. The story isn't the same without Ryuuchi's voice balancing out the relationship. You have such a wonderful characterization of him as human and not a caricature.)
