interesting take on Lionel's view of the Kents and Clark in particular. i wouldn't be surprised if Lionel didn't turn out to be responsible in some way for Clark's adoption after the hints in Zero, you worked it really well. i don't generally subscribe to the 'Lionel as an evil homicidal/abusive maniac' theory, though he is definitely a creep, but you made it work really well. Just the right mix of evil disregard for Lex and weird sick pride...

i'm not sure if this is a one shot or the beginning of a series, but it could work both ways and i'd love to see how you'd work Lionel's reintroduction to the Kents (Clark saving Lex, the events of Jitters etc) into this.
