Hey, forgot to review this the other day. I like it. It's good that you didn't go overboard on the Ukyou/Ryouga relationship like most do. I liked it ending in friendship with the possibility of something else. Um...the little girl was cute. Overall it's was good, but a little rusty. Then again, I'm rusty too, so I guess we're going to just have to practice more. Laterz.

Ok, that sounds like something I would write. I'm not sure if I should be proud, or very very scared. lol Well on to the slight suggestions (you know, I gotta proofread my own stuff sometime...I'm started to feel like a hipocrit). A little mention of it snowing as Ryouga first starts to run after Ukyou would help a bit (just a sentence or two). Wow, people in the cabin eh? That's a twist. Those things are usually abandoned when two anime characters find them in snowstorms, hee hee. Your descriptions of Ryouga's thoughts are WONDERFUL. I'm...so proud! I think your on par with me now...(hmm...ego...being..threatened...LOL). I love his bewilderment of Ukyou's depression. wow...

But nevertheless I tread on. Ukyou's spill of your past comes a tiiiiiiny bit fast. I dunno...it needs something. Maybe a bit more hesitation, or prodding to get her to open up. But only a little bit... Ok, you do know japanese kids can live on their own by age 14 right (maybe even younger)? I'm pretty sure foster homes don't exist either.

I like the friendship angle. It's so much better than a "Ryouga and Ukyou decide they love each other suddenly!" type thing. Ack...ok you sorta just did that. (ah, the perils of reviewing as you read).

Ok my overall reactions? WOW! Written wonderfully! As I sit here, staring at the two measly paragraphs of lost days 12, I'm feeling extremley jealous of you. My only suggestion would be to ease up a bit on the Ukyou/Ryouga-ness at the end. It's great and all, but I think your original friendship angle worked better. Maybe just stop cuddling at the hug? I dunno, take my advice or leave it. It's good as it is...

Did I mention I'm feeling jealous? Man, I think I lost my muse. I didn't even know I had a muse! How am I gonna find my muse again if I don't even know what it looks like? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Wow! This is a GREAT story! Stuff like this is really hard to find. I think Ryoga and Ukyo really belong together. PLEASE write more stories like this! Maybe a sequal, where Ryoga realizes that Ukyo was the one for him all along? And Ukyo realizes that she loves Ryoga? That'd be WAY cool!

I really enjoyed this because of the positive perspective Ukyou has, even though what has happened to her in the past. Many fics about Ukyou and/or Ryouga (or others) finding out Ranma and Akane really love each other, etc., etc, always tend to have them wallow in depression for the rest of the story, and it gets old sometimes. I liked the sorta "Don't worry be happy" theme that you gave your story. Plus, I'm a sucker for anything with Ryouga and Ukyou in it. _ Keep up the good work!

Ryoga n' Ukyo are my two fav. characters in the Ranma series (Honorable mentions go to Tarou, Mousse, Natsume, and Ryuu)so I obviously like this story. Keep it up.
