And they could've met a thousand and one times before they did, and it wouldn't have been right. Oh, crap, maybe it would've. And they could've changed the whole damn outcome. And now I'm sad. But it's a good kind of sad, so please keep writing.

So romantic. And I never fail to love the way you make his stint as mayor so much MORE than a joke. Such a character defining moment. And that idea, that he saw all his mistakes and was unwilling to let them slide. That there was a fraud investigation because of the story he saw so easily in the numbers... that he toppled a founding family... LOVE.
