Aw, that was so cute! I loved the way you--and they--said so much without saying anything. Very talented! And quite perfect. The subtlety fit precisely with the characters, who were handled so well. I really love how you got so much across without ever coming out and saying it! Great story!

I like extra scene stories and this fits in just right. It's not overly sweet but crisp and refreshing. It captures something about Legolas and Gimli and their relationship.

You said there would be a sequel to Cold Comfort (which REALLY messed with my head) and I LOVE this little glimpse of what could be. SO ... are you waiting for something in particular?? Give us more already -- there is not enough GOOD L/G slash (or slash in general for that matter) out there to tide me over while I wait....

Clever and pretty ^_~ Very nice dialoge, I must say. You captured the whole 'tolkein' feel when they talked, something that makes this fic special. And the elusive emotion throughout was beautiful. I like this alot.

Wow! I did a search this morning at work for Legolas/Gimli (although I am usually a Frodo/Sam girl), anticipating finding some fics by people who have actually read (and loved) the books. Am I ever glad I did! This is simply awesome. You capture Legolas and Gimli's relationship perfectly. This is some of the most *heartfelt* slash I've ever read. Simply wonderful.

You writing has the most beautiful flair and style; an innocent conversation, but with so much depth. Very very nice work.

Ah, the truth is revealed - Gimli was in love with neither Galadriel nor Legolas...it was just a hair fetish, after all. But seriously, the story is fresh and subtle and your writing flows nicely.

Great writing! It seems so light and merry on the surface, and yet what hidden depths are below! You write Legolas and Gimly very well. One doesn't even have to like this pairing (as I personally do not), and can still greatly enjoy your story.
