The idea of Marlene was interesting, odd but interesting.

The way of portraying Aeris as the 'not so innocent girl' we all thought she was, that's another thing I really liked. She had a bit of a devilish streak to her in this story which I thought was excellent.

I agree, Barret was a li'l ooc but we never knew if he calmed down when he marries Elmyra. It seems to be an obvious couple that few people have ever thought of.

I can't stress it enough: great great great job! ^_^ I read that you are going to continue this with two sequels, right? If you are, please post 'em soon! That was good. I think you messed up slightly with the grammer, but that's ok I didnt really mind. Barret was rather out of character, still this was well writen.

Now this is disturbing. A lot more believable in my eyes than most fics pairing these two, though. And why wouldn't Sephiroth be a sadist? We know practically nothing about his private life before the Nibel reactor, and growing up the way he surely grew up - as a specimen (not even a human being, really) that was being trained to be the perfect fighter - isn't likely to make someone very kind and gentle. I just can't believe that every evil thing he ever did was due only to being controlled by Jenova.
