Is she as wicked as she's portrayed? Er... yes. Most definitely. Of course, the way you wrote her made readers feel some compassion - well readers who aren't extremely biased, that is. I can never like her. I totally see where she's coming from, and this was very well characterized, but I still hate her. Ah, the passion of prejudice and hatred - it's a fun way to be. Anyway, this was different and really well written.

This was great. You captured the nuances of Nini's character perfectly- lots of darkness, but just enough light that we can feel for her sometimes. Great writing style and voice. . . I can really imagine Nini saying that.
