Based on this single story, I'm venturing to say that you're actually one of the FEW GOOD writers on . That's something, for sure. I also must admit that I didn't read the entire story, often skipping paragraphs at a time, only because the subject didn't interest me very much. I chose to read one of your stories, regardless of whether I knew the subject matter or not, because your bio was so intriguing. And now I have, and now I know that you're good. (I assume.) :)

Oh, that's gorgeous. Seriously. I love the way you followed through Emma's thought processes, revealing, resolving, continuing. The whole tone is somehow so sad, and yet so sympathetic that it strikes a real nerve. Excellent work.
