Well...it's been absolutely unforgivable that I have taken this long to read and review since...(checks dates on notification e-mails)...February. But...ugh...I've just been SO busy, and if its of any consolation, this hasn't been the only fanfic on my watch status that I've neglected.

Anyway, enough about that. These last few chapters worked out pretty good, wrapping up fairly quickly, yes, more than one would be used to with past chapters, but for some reason it all worked nonetheless. Not sure if I entirely follow with the ending, but I think I'm following along enough to go ahead and move on to the sequel (which I will be hunting down immediately after this).

So in short, I like, and am looking forward to reading more. :D

WOW. This is such an amazing opening to the story. I still can't quite believe that there is actually a story written about them. That totally made my day. And your story is simply brilliant.

Well, you sure keep the plot twists coming, just the way we like it. It's a different change of pace to see Billy tempted by the same power Morty is aiming for. I can't wait to read the ending, or for the first chapter of LOWTSAR.

I have only one thing to say: "what just happened?" I don't really get how that was a modding reference, but I like it anyway XD

Also, congrats on successfully getting the chapter to display; I did FINALLY figure out how to send a bug report, though as far as I know they haven't replied (but in all fairness, I also haven't checked my email in several hours)

Haha! That last part reminded me of a Larson - cartoon where a scientist looks at a slab on his microscope, and the germs go: "The eye! The eye!"

Awesome works as always, and I like that you made the chapters shorter. You don't have to leave stuff out, just divide the text a little. The universe has no limits. Neither does Mortimer's megalomania. Haha... The eye...

Haha, I still don't really know anything about Mortimer in canonverse (which episode did he appear? Only played 1 and 4) but I'm loving this character interaction XD

You don't know how happy I was to find such well-thought-out Keen fanfiction :D I myself have only played episodes 1 and 4 (shareware version), because although I HAVE the rest, my Mac's XP partition hates me :/ I hope you get around to finishing it, because that pogo stick needs to appear. No questions asked.

Heh, this was a fun chapter, and the ferrets in the air vents are...disturbingly cool.

I love your sense of humor, and the writing style really seems appropriate for the light-hearted nature Commander Keen. Still, as you seem to realize, the story is dragging a bit. In chapter 4, I initially found the messages between Keen and Mortimer to be amusing, but then they kept dragging on, and on, and... on.

Also, you say this is going to be only 9 chapters? So far not too much has really happened. If this was going to be 20 or 30 chapters or so, I would think these first 4 chapters would be fine. However, the story is almost halfway done (supposedly)! Don't get me wrong, I appreciate time spent to developing plots and characters, but considering this is Commander Keen, we should have some more adventures going on. So far this is really good, but you need to hurry up and get to the meat of the story!

Sorry for my rant - I couldn't help it. ;) Anyways, I think this is very well written and could be the beginning of an actual novel. Keep up the good work!

Well this is all certainly getting interesting. No surprises that Morty having an ulterior motive to all of this, but Rayton's sudden presence makes me hesitant to try and call it. Unlike Keen, I don't trust him.

I skimmed through your reviews, and see that you have gotten some...shall we say...undesirable comments? Don't listen to them. I've read bad fanfics before. This is definitely not one them, so you keep doing what you're doing. :)

Anyway, awaiting for more. :D
