Okay, that was fun, now, I DO hope that they will bring the Cynic's Gang (not that Jane/Daria/Trent & M.S./Jodie/Mack consider themselves a group) into this higher-natural world.

(Higher nature) simply put, this is the nature, the world, so far not understood and ominated by Man.. after all, some are wicked, others not, but they are Outsiders, thus, they are liekly understandable, in time, by those I just named, unlike the rest of Lawndale.

Good to see that we have a new author who can spin an entertaining tale. There is the sense that we've visited this territory before, however - visiting vampires, Quinn getting drugged and kidnapped by some jerk, Daria getting full-blown mad about it, these are things that have become somewhat cliche. But the writing is good and there are some amusing bits that make up for it. I'd recommend the author do a little reading of what's gone before to ensure that she (pretty sure it's a she) doesn't end up rehashing any of a dozen similar plots.
