Awwww poor muffin Karofsky, as much as he is a jerk sometimes, I always feel bad for him as well he is soo cute. He had better get a happy ending or all shall be sad. Anway this was really cute and seemed extremely in character. I just also felt the need to mention that I am a hard-core Klainer, have been since he first appeared, but I just wnted to mention that I don't hate on any ship and love reading Hevans and Kurtofsky (I for some reason have an extreme love for MiKurt lol don't know why but they are adorable lol) so I always feel bad when I get lumped in with those who are hating on other ships (there are people in EVERY ship hating on other ships, it is not just Klainers, though I know you know that and were just saying because Yeah some people can get out of hand which is depressing) Just wanted to speak up for the Non-psycho hating Klainers :P

I think you got Karofsky's emotions pretty much spot-on. You did very well with FInn too. :)

This more than sounded good, Dory; it sounded like the start of another extended storyline. I don't think that this IS complete. There are many possibilities for carrying this forward and developing Karofsky's coming to terms and coming out story. You're at a bit of an advantage right now becase with the show on hiatus for a few weeks you can develop this line without any influences from the canon itself. I know they intend to return to Karofsky's coming out arc (and I personally suspect that that will, in turn, contribute to Kurt's return to McKinnly High and the New Directions). I simply think that you (with your mastery of voice) can probably do a terrific job with this spaced over a number of chapters rather than in an episode or two.

also, I agree, he needs someone. Finn, Rachel, Shannon, Santana, Will, someone. who is not Kurt. as much as I want them together and the sooner the better, Kurt is the part of the problem so I cant really see him be part of the solution. but that is whole other story

If only Dave had accepted to apologize to Kurt & everything in the Superbowl ep. and accepted to be in the Glee club... :( We could see him so much more ! But sadly it didn't happen *sigh* It would be really great if something like that could happen... Or if Az found out and didn't judge him and continue treating him the same way because he's his best friend... Or not, as long as we get to see Karofsky more ! :D Anywoo, nice little one-shot (for a change :p) I really liked it :) Can't wait for the next one... Now, Finn has utterly pissed me off during all of Season 2. He's been a homophobe trying to parade as tolerant, and generally a total dick. BUT! Your Finn is a reflection of the really decent sort of guy he was in Season 1! So I really enjoyed it!

I thought Karofsky was reeeally in character too, cos I feel like he really would have been genuinely sorry about what he did to Kurt, and really doesn't want to be gay at all.

for the klaine-shipper-dave-trolling-thing: i think they're bashing because they're still missing something in this oh-so-canon(-?) pairing. i got a friend and she didn't liked the kiss although she is a huge klaine fan. she said in the show it was sort of always the same with these two boys, no improvement of their character what usual for a good relationship. i can't speak for all but maybe they ARE not happy with what they got. and maybe still see some sort of competition in karofsky.

and as we all know when poeple aren't confident about something they really want, they can get randomly angry sometimes.

...so much to that XD (damn i nearly forgot what the fanfiction was about XDD)

i really do think dave needs someone that confronts him whilst not pushing him too much.

albeit i love dave he is not much of a hero and without a little help he'll just stick to the "save" side.

someone like blaine just couldn't get enough trust, he was a complete stranger and despite dave in a huge advantage by already knowing his big secret, while dave didn't even knew his name (i'm referring to "never been kissed" btw XD).

aizimo seems to sort of wanting to keep the order in school so i don't see him wanting to get dave out in first place.

so i guess yes: finn is probably the best choice for this job (puck wouldn't be smart enough, neither to notice it, not to know what to say ;D)

anyway, i really liked this! i love Finn and Dave interaction, ever since the superbowl episode. it's just so cute! and when i saw the title, i knew it was gonna be about a USB key, lol. and this just generally rocks and it so sad/sweet in that angsty way. Finn was awesome in this, too. C':

P.S. at my school, i get to paint a mural on the wall for being in AP art and for being a senior. it's awesome, 'cause i'm drawing Glee people, and they're all chibi and anime-like and inside of a giant slushie cup with Dave standing off to the side looking smug like he put them in there. XD

Hmm... Honestly I think your Finn characterization seems off. Why would Karofsky think Finn would understand about him being gay? In the Superbowl episode when the Glee guys are confronting the other footballers Finn makes a comment that they've never seen Karofsky with a girl, therefore implying he could be gay. Not exactly a gay-friendly move.

On the other hand Finn offering Kurt's help when Kurt has been the victim in all of this? That does seem to me like something Finn would do because he sees a lot of himself in Karofsky and if Kurt could forgive him, then he could forgive Karofsky.
