Looovvvveee it! (Weezie from dragon tales voice) The first chapter was rather depressing but you completely cheered me up with the second. Kudos on making two different chapters with such different emotions run so smoothly together, that takes talent! I hope you add on to it a bit, maybe show some flashbacks of the war or maybe having Lucy telling stories about it to Levy. Great story! ginger

No matter how much I try, I just can't imagine Natsu with long hair and a beard. It's just close to impossible for me without him looking like Gildarts in one way or another...

I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I READ HOW MANY HAD DIED TTTTATTTT YOU SHOULD MAKE A SHORT CHAPTER OR AT LEAST A SLIGHT FLASHBACK TO THE WAR. By the way, how come Natsu never heard of the war? I mean if multiple guilds were in it he must've at least heard rumors. Oh, did Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale and the other guilds fair better than Fairy Tail? I'm curious. Also at least preview Erza and Jellal once :D I'd love to see how they're doing :D

Wow. Here I go again starting my reviews off with that word. 'Wow'. It's such a tiny, three-letter word. Two of those three letters repeated. Its so small, so seemingly insignificant, but look at what it can do. The word can express an emotion, it can speak loud. The word it booms and bounces, echoes and ascends. It fills the heart and shutters the very soul. It's definition meant to describe an abstract feeling; to express something intangible, but something easy to comprehend. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but what is the worth of a single, three letter word? After reading this heart-wrenching tale and being almost speakless, if all I could manage to say is wow, a simple three letter word, then I think that words are much more powerful then we think.

Waaahhhhh! You just want to make people cry!

I'll let you know that I was blubbering like a whale throughout three quarters of the story! Ugh, all these hormones! But it did deserve such an applause! Even though I've read many one-shots on Natsu coming back after his hunt for Igneel, the really well-written ones always get me! I think the first one was called At the Riverside of Neverland - which was just breathtaking - and I think your story is the most original I've read since.

On a side note, so happy to see more Fairy Tail work from you! I was sort of sad when the only other anime/manga fics you had were Naruto! Nothing against it, but if I start reading Naruto fics again, I don't know how much school work I will get done! Plus, I think you had Naruto and Sakura stories... I'm sorry but I'm a firm believer of Sasuke and Sakura! Have been since I started reading Naruto. Although I don't know what's happening anymore, they might have even taken Sasuke out of the equation! But know how slow it is, it'll take at least 10 years to show one full arc.

Hmm, I've started rambling again, I suspect. Anyway, hopefully this review made you happy and not annoyed because you've wasted 5 mins reading my rambling on my SasuSaku preference!
