This is such as interesting story. I'll admit I'm not completely sure of the DC Universe but I can't wait to see how you're going to work the relationship with the Bat family. Will she run into the Sundale gang again?

I also really like how there is a slow transition to Buffy being a thief. It's logical and works very well. Can't wait for more!

I can't believe they closed the Helmouth without Buffy, wonder how they did it and to what cost. Faith isn't used to slaying and I don't think they found the Scythe because they didn't dare to fight Caleb. So I was wondering, nothing more. I'm more interested in how Selina live will go.

I very much like the idea behind this. Selina Kyle having some sort of supernatural power is something I've always wanted to see (something well done, not the steaming pile of shit that came out for a catwoman movie) because well, cats are historically considered mystical creatures for one and the fact that canon Selina does seem to have an otherwordly way with otherwise wild cats does lend itself to thinking along those lines. Her being Buffy meshes well with the personality of both characters.

I'd have to say though that I think these last three chapters have been needlessly angsty. When Buffy is kicked out of her house she doesn't leave feeling sorry for herself. She's proud -with good reason, I think- and very angry (or it felt that way to me) and so, having her feeling so down was offputting. Granted, it was a good way to get her to Gotham and it wasn't the sort of overblown angst that gets annoying. It was a bit off character for me, however.

The tenses you work with seem to be out of place in chapters two and three because while chapter one seems to take place in the present day, that is, when Buffy-cum-Selina is already Catwoman and evidently a great thief (if perhaps not as self assured as we see her in canon Batman stories because it seems that she had to be younger so that both characters could mesh well) both chapters two and three are flashbacks that explain just how she got there. Considering that, it's odd that you still speak in present tense when I think the idea behind the chapters was that Buffy was reminiscing about what took her to that point.

Writing in past tense would go a long way in making whatever memories of Buffy you write actually feel like memories.

That aside, the idea is great and while the style your write in feels a little odd to me (in my head, it reads more like a graphic novel sort of thing... thing 300 for example; with all the short frases and period stops) it gets the point across very well and I like where you seem to be going to. Will Batman (or any other DC person) make an appearance? What about Buffy's people? Figuring out just HOW they made it out in one piece without Buffy will be very important and probably complicated... Personally I don't think Faith is quite up to Buffy's level, so I predict some casualties :P

What sort of cat related powers will Buffy get from her Bastet pendant (if any)? As a bit of a geek question, Will Sekhmet feature in your story? She's also an egyptian cat goddess (more lion than cat actually) with a warrior and defeater of darkness feel as opposed to bastets more protective orientation.
